UK Immigration Advice

The sure way to know:

  • What type of visa you should apply for depending on your circumstances and objectives.
  • What requirements must be met.
  • What is the procedure to follow.

The Immigration System in the UK is complex, extensive and subject to permanent changes.

The lack of knowledge and advice of many clients has led them to experience major problems such as:

  • Purchasing an Airline ticket in advance without prior knowledge of the Immigration Laws, as a result being refused entry by the Immigration Officer.
  • Having filled out the application incorrectly, will incur in a rejection.
  • Lacking of essential documents to support the application.
  • Having applied for the wrong visa, when you should have applied for another category, etc.

It is precisely to avoid all these mistakes that I offer this consultancy where you can explore all possible options depending on the circumstances of each client. Knowing the requirements that must be met, documents that must be attached to the application and what is the procedure to follow.

My experience with CP Immigration advice was great. Carmen answered all my questions regarding the requirement I have to meet, documents to submit and how the process is to apply for Naturalization.  She also sent a letter with a summary of everything we discussed. This was very helpful as I believe we need to have the information in writing. Now we are in the process to apply for my British passport. Thank you Carmen.

CUSTOMERS FAQ

1. How does this service work?

This is an online consultancy. First fill in the form. I will receive your answers and I will contact you to arrange an appointment. I will send you an email with all the details, including the bank details to make the transfer and a link to make the videoconference on the day we agree. On the day of the videoconference, the payment must be made. Don’t forget to check question 9 to find out which visas I work with.

2. What exactly does the session cover?

The first step is to make an assessment of the client’s circumstances and interests. Then, depending on the objective to be achieved, I will explain what type of visa is viable, what are the requirements, documents and the process to be followed.

3. Do I need to have any documents or information prepared before the session?

If you have previously applied and the application was rejected, it is important to have the letter sent by the Home Office to identify the exact reason for the rejection.

4. How do I prepare for the online session?

Ideally, you should be in a quiet room with a good internet connection. You may also want to have your passport, residence or other form of identification to hand.

Remember dates that may be important, for example, if you have been to the UK before (when and for how long you were there).

5. How much does the consultation cost and what is the method of payment?

The first consultation is £80 for 1 hour. Payment is by bank transfer. Once the appointment has been made, you will receive an email with all the details, including bank details.

Payment must be made in order to have the appointment booked.

6. What happens if I do not meet any of the visa requirements?

Unfortunately, if you do not meet each and every one of the requirements, I do not advise you to apply. However, the client is free to apply by himself or to consult another advisor for a second opinion.

7. Is the visa application included in case of eligibility?

No, the cost of £80 only covers the first consultation which can last approximately 1 hour.

Applications are charged at a different rate. Click here to download the price list.

8. Can we have a three-way session?

Yes, this is not a problem. It is advisable, for example, that the sponsor (if any) and the applicant are present at the appointment.

9. What kind of visas do you work with?

There are lots and lots of visas in the UK. I work with the following:

  • Settled Status – for European citizens and their family members applying for permanent residence.
  • Family Permit SS – Europeans resident in the UK who wish to sponsor immediate family members to join them in the UK.
  • Appendix FM – family visa
  • Student Visa
  • Work Visa – for skilled professionals in certain sectors such as health, technology, science, communication, finance, administration, teaching, etc.
  • Tourist Visa – for those who want to come to visit the country and/or family members.
  • Naturalisation – for adults with permanent residence or Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK who want to apply for British citizenship.
  • Registration – for those under the age of 18 who wish to apply for British citizenship.
10. How far in advance should I seek immigration advice?
  • Ideally more than 4 months in advance if you plan to apply from abroad. There are many steps to take and organise before obtaining the visa and purchasing the ticket.
  • If applying within the UK, about 2 months before the expiry of the visa or residency.
11. What if my case does not fall into one of these categories?

You can fill in the form explaining your situation. If we cannot help you, we will see if we can refer you to another service.
